Life of a dragon fruit

Over the last two months, I have been taking pictures of this dragon fruit cactus that my dad has been growing. I hadn't really paid any attention to it until my mom told me to come outside and look at the beginning of a dragon fruit one morning. Before that morning, I didn't know that dragon fruit came from a cactus so I began observing it. Every few days, I would go outside to see how it had changed. I found it really interesting to see it go from the cactus to flower to fruit to the table. It may take a long time, but in the end you can see how it ended up on your plate.

This is a small dragon fruit cactus. It still has a long way to go.

Wow! Now, this is a lot of large dragon fruit cacti. I wonder how long it took for it to become this big.
It doesn't look like it now, but in a few days, this will become something beautiful.Early one morning, I went outside and found this beautiful white dragon fruit flower. I was very glad to get this picture because usually, they bloom overnight and wilt towards the morning.
After a few days, the flower dies and the fruit begins to grow.
After many weeks, the fruit continues to grow and ripen.
After many days have passed... the dragon fruit is ready for us to eat. After waiting and watching it for months, it is finally ready for consumption.
